Since their discovery around 1975, by Benoit
Mandelbrot, fractals have been a wonderful tool for those
studying the natural world, and the larger universe of which it is a
part. Fractals have proven to be a great way to model various
forms and aspects of nature, and they have been a source of fascination
to many for their intricate beauty. Their utility to those studying
the cosmos has made fractal cosmology a subject in its own
right.
This site is intended to be a source of information and more. I wish to have it become a place to visit frequently, and a meeting place for people interested in learning more about Fractals, Cosmology, and Fractal Universe theories. I'll be posting material of my own here, and links to other postings of my work, but I'll also have links to and comments from a variety of both Fractal and Cosmology related sites. In addition, there will be a growing list of Universities and Colleges with faculty research or study programs that include Fractals and Cosmology. I hope to host content by researchers whose work touches on these topics, in some way, on this site. Expect an announcement soon, about how to submit content for inclusion here. - Jonathan J.
